I received this wonderful thank you note from one of my recent weddings.

     Thank you so much for everything!  We received the video a week or so ago, and I can’t tell you how much we love it!  You captured the day perfectly, and it made us so happy to be able to relive it.  The way you integrated the music with each part of the day was amazing, and we were happy to see all of our friends and family throughout each part, as well.  Of the many decisions we had to make in planning the wedding, I think working with you was one of the best!  You have such a gift Tana, and I know we will continue to be thankful for the outstanding video you made of our wedding for many years to come.

Mary-Faith & Matthew’s Pre-Ceremony & Recap

I had the pleasure of working with Mary-Faith and Matthew on their wedding day in Dubuque, Iowa.  The ceremony took place at the Cathedral of St Raphael and the reception was at the Grand River Center. 

I just received this wonderful email from the couple:

Hi Tana,

Just writing to let you know that we received the wedding video yesterday!  It was fabulous!  Thank you so much, you did a wonderful job.  I cried the whole way through…..even got a few tears from Matt, hehehe =-)  Thank you for giving us such a wonderful review of the day.  You really outdid yourself.  It was great!  It was a pleasure working with you and thanks again!

Amy & David’s Online Gallery!

Amy and David were married September 6, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran in Galesburg, Illinois.  The reception followed at Soangetaha Country Club.

Ashley & Coy’s Pre + Post Ceremony

Ashley and Coy were such a sweet and wonderful couple to work with!  Ashley informed me that she is a follower of our video blog and fell in love with a song from one of our videos.  It was an instrumental from the movie, “Castaway” by Alan Silvestri.  She was so taken by it, that she used that instrumental when she walked down the aisle with her father!  So, I had to use that song for their Pre-Ceremony.

I was very happy to learn that Ashley and Coy are music lovers.  So, they had specific ideas about the music they wanted to use in the video.  One of the songs is by The Cure.  I used it for the Post-Ceremony and was really happy with the way it turned out!  I believe that these two songs are great examples of how music can set the mood for your video.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day!  It truly was my pleasure.

Anastasia & Matthew

Anastasia and Matthew were married on October 6, 2007.  Ana got ready at her grandmother’s farmhouse.  The couple also had their first meeting there.  It was absolutely beautiful!

 Here are a few clips from their big day!  I especially love how the footage from the Post-Ceremony seemed to flow perfectly with the music.

Erin & Ben’s Pre-Ceremony

Erin and Ben got ready at The Holiday Inn in Rock Island and had their first meeting at the QC Botanical Center.  It was a gorgeous, but HOT day!  But, Erin and Ben were troopers and a lot of fun to work with.

Lindsey & Ben

Lindsey & Ben’s wedding was at First Presbyterian Church in Iowa City.  This was the first wedding we have done in Iowa City.  I haven’t been back to Iowa City much since I graduated from the U of I, so it was great to be there.  We got some gorgeous shot by the Union!

Lindsey & Ben picked all of the music for their video.  Their choices were different than those we normally receive.  I REALLY like the way the music worked with the video.  So, I decided to post two clips from their wedding video!  I’m interested to hear what other people think of the music.

Monica & Cory’s Pre-Ceremony is set to Frank Sinatra’s, “The Way You Look Tonight.”  It seems like more and more couples are selecting the timeless music from the Rat Pack era.

It was a beautiful day!  Monica was such an organized bride that everything went so smoothly.

We also had a great time working with Rick Jennisch.  We always enjoy working with Rick.  If you look closely, you will see him hard at work in some of the shots!
