Amy and David were married September 6, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran in Galesburg, Illinois.  The reception followed at Soangetaha Country Club.

Ashley & Coy’s Pre + Post Ceremony

Ashley and Coy were such a sweet and wonderful couple to work with!  Ashley informed me that she is a follower of our video blog and fell in love with a song from one of our videos.  It was an instrumental from the movie, “Castaway” by Alan Silvestri.  She was so taken by it, that she used that instrumental when she walked down the aisle with her father!  So, I had to use that song for their Pre-Ceremony.

I was very happy to learn that Ashley and Coy are music lovers.  So, they had specific ideas about the music they wanted to use in the video.  One of the songs is by The Cure.  I used it for the Post-Ceremony and was really happy with the way it turned out!  I believe that these two songs are great examples of how music can set the mood for your video.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day!  It truly was my pleasure.

Anastasia & Matthew

Anastasia and Matthew were married on October 6, 2007.  Ana got ready at her grandmother’s farmhouse.  The couple also had their first meeting there.  It was absolutely beautiful!

 Here are a few clips from their big day!  I especially love how the footage from the Post-Ceremony seemed to flow perfectly with the music.

Lindsey & Ben

July 28, 2007 

Lindsey & Ben’s wedding was at First Presbyterian Church in Iowa City.  This was the first wedding we have done in Iowa City.  I haven’t been back to Iowa City much since I graduated from the U of I, so it was great to be there.  We got some gorgeous shot by the Union!

Lindsey & Ben picked all of the music for their video.  Their choices were different than those we normally receive.  I REALLY like the way the music worked with the video.  So, I decided to post two clips from their wedding video!  I’m interested to hear what other people think of the music.

Nick and Melissa were married at the beautiful St. John’s United Methodist by Pastor Klink.  Pastor Klink is one of the most friendly and accommodating officiants.  We are always happy to have the opportunity to work with him.

The setting of this Post-Ceremony clip is Vander Veer Park.  It is an extremely popular and beautiful setting for photos and video.  We had the pleasure of working with Jim and Pat Lahr.  They are photographers out of Cedar Rapids and friends of the couple.
